Amazon FBA Inventory Placement Service Fees & Partnered Carriers For Shipping Freight With Courier
Posted by Live Now Education G Support Team on 27 December 2017 11:36 AM

In order to know whether to use Amazon's inventory placement service or not, you'll firstly need to create a shipping plan and see what location or locations they want you to send the goods to.

Then if there are multiple locations you need to get a quote from a freight forwarder to split the shipment to all locations and compare these costs to paying for the inventory placement service to see which option is going to be more cost affordable.

Depending on the size of your products you could be charged anywhere from USD $0.30 upwards (see fees attached) per product, which may work out more than shipping the products to multiple locations.

With the Shipping Services, Amazon's partnered carriers are UPS, US Post Office, FedEx and DHL and can only be used when shipping products within the USA. Therefore if you're using a different courier / freight forwarder or the supplier is located in a different country you will need to choose 'other carrier'.
