How Do I Find My Search Standing On ebay To See What My Best Match Ranking Is?

As a professional seller understanding where your listings appear in ebay's Best Match search ranking is very important and you should regularly monitor your search standing to see 'how far down' the list your listings are shown to buyers.

The first step is to go to ebay and do a search for the item you're selling as if you were a buyer looking for that particular item to purchase.

Remember other sellers probably won't use the exact same keywords as you, which means you can't search your entire title and instead search for a couple of keywords only that all your competition would be using.

Double check the 'Search Criteria' drop down box is set to 'Best Match' and you need to be looking at the 'List View' in order to see the seller's User Names as per our example below:

Then scroll down the page and look at all the seller User Names until you find your own, which should hopefully be shown on page 1! If not, continue going through each page until you find your listing and know what page you're on and how many pages there are in total.

If there are hundreds of pages to go through, you could narrow it down a bit more by going into a specific category in the left lane or by adding an additional keyword that all sellers are using.
